Hannah's Hat

Hannah loves hats! Well she found this one in the drawer today. I think she wore it every way possible. She had it on the right way, backwards, and sideways. She loves it!

Famous Daves

We went to dinner at Famous Daves with Matt and Amy tonight. It was a lot of fun. Hannah loved it. She also ate a ton.

Baseball season has begun!

Jacob got the oppurtunity to play with the varsity team today in an intersquad game. He was very excited about getting this chance. He played really well.

Flag Football!

The church had a flag football game today and David played with the guys. I walked from the football field to the baseball field several times today, becaused Jacob had a baseball at the same time. Hannah enjoyed running all over the field.

Nap Time!

I laid Hannah down for a nap today and she usually stays in her bed. I usually go to my office to work and check on her periodically. My office phone rang and the call took longer than I had wanted. When I went back to check on her this is what I found. She fell asleep in the glider chair in her room.

Words!!!!

I haven't posted an update on Hannah in awhile, so here it is. Hannah is doing really well. She is talking up a storm. She is making a lot more sounds than before. This week she has said: roast, Emily, Hannah, moo, and there are several other words that she says. She is also using her sign language really good.
We are still putting the Bactrim Ban ointment in her nose for a couple more months. The doctors at UCLA want to see it they can get the MRSA infection completely cleaned up. We still have a couple more monthe of the tape for her lip. Hannah doesn't leave this tape on very well. I have to reapply the tape to her lip about 3 times a day.
I also think we have a monkey on our hands. This kid can climb. She climbs on EVERYTHNG!!!! I am so afraid that she is going to climb on something and get hurt, but she thinks it is so funny.
She is really adjusting well. We have our 6th month review next Saturday with Holt. It is so hard to believe that we have been home with this precious child for 6 months. God is so good. Everytime I look at her I realize how awesome our God is. Hannah is one special kid. It is so amazing how quick kids learn things. It brings me to tears knowing that she did not have a future in China to learn about Jesus. She reminds us everynight that we have to pray before every meal. How amazing is that. Hannah is almost 22 months old and she wanting to pray. If you do not fold your hands, she tells you about it!

Hannah asleep on the Tram after a fun long afternoon at the parks!

After meeting with Dave, we hit up Disneyland for the afternoon. It was really great to get back into the park. It's A Small World has been updated, as well as the Haunted Mansion. Small World has the most signifigant changes. They have added an odd twenty Disney/Pixar characters strewn about the attraction. Now, me personally, I think the changes look great, and the characters are very well hidden throughout the ride. A very BIG thanks goes to Aunt Marcy, she gave us all gift cards to ESPN Zone, and we ended up paying just $5.00 for the meal! What a deal, huh? Well, I'm going to shut up and let you get onto the pictures.
