While David was at football practice Emily, Hannah and I made chocolate chip cookies! Hannah loves eating the cookie dough off the beater.

David Coaching

David is voluteering coaching for a home school sports program this year. He is such a nautral at coaching. He loves it and the boys love him. This is the first year for this program. Most of our games are out of town, so that means we get to travela bit this fall. Jacob was going to play, but when he injuried his ankle he is out for the season. Jake and Stephanie help at the games with water and whatever their daddy's need them to do. I just smiled when I saw the picture of the two of them doing water at the first game, they use to do the water at games when they were 7 & 8 years old. They have grown up with their daddy's coaching football together. These two also share the same birthday. Where does the time go. Our kids are growing up to fast.

Out for a ride

My dad has a 3 wheel bike that he rides to get his mail. Hannah noticed that it had a basket on it that is just her size. So guess who rides with Papa to get their mail? It didn't take much sweet talkin for Papa to let her go with him. My dad has had many health issues this year and right at the moment he is feeling pretty good. Hannah has also relized that you can just walk right on over to Papa & Nanny's to get the special treats that Nanny has stashed away for the grandkids. My parents live next door to us.  They moved in when we were in China getting Hannah.  My parents lived in Tehachapi , but my dad's health was failing and it was really hard for my mom to get him to the hospital and doctor appts.  This way I am right here if they need me.  I am just thankful that dad's health is stable right at the moment where he can enjoy his days. 

Disneyland with new friends

An evening with new friends! Jacob met Casey on line through Mice chat. Casey & Julie are really neat people. You know there are people that you meet and they instantly become friends, this is how this was. I just want thank Casey for being a listening ear when he and Jacob talk. It is always nice to have another Christian couple for you kids to talk to. Thanks Beards we had a fun evening and hopefully many more to come

Hannah is learning to draw a straight line and color in the lines. She is doing a great job.

New outfit

Hannah is finally big enough to be able to wear the cute Dr. Suess China outfit from Aunt Marcy!!

Olives

We were fixing nachos for dinner and Hannah realized that the olives fit perfctly on her fingers. It is so much fun to watch her develop and discover new things!

First Day of School
