Reconnection

The Yarger's came to California for vacation and we were able to reconnect with them again! They came to spend a couple of says with us! It is important to us to keep our girls connected! Four years ago this month our girls were placed in our arms! It is amazing how much they have grown into little girls!
We have had a fun weekend!!

Great Statement

This statement was in my bible study today! It really hit home with me. We have been talking about this a lot with our children. It is always nice to see something that your dealing with just pop up right when you need it! God has such a great way if showing us what we need to see and hear!

The way we behave from day to day is largely a function of how we respect or disrespect the people around us. The way employees perform is a product of how they respect the boss. The way children behave is an outgrowth of their respect for their parents...and certainly, the way husbands and wives relate is a function of their mutual respect and admiration. Good visit

Today was a good morning! David's aunt Cathy & husband from New York was passing through on their way to San Francisco! It is nice to see our east cost family! We met them at Hodel's for brunch! We love to see family!!!

Dad is going back to the hospital

My dad is going back to the ER this morning. Mom came over this morning and said his weight is up. We were really hoping and praying that the new pill the doctors put him would work.
I don't know if there is any other water medication out there that will work. His kidneys are really taking a hit from ALL the medication that he is on.
Please this morning as mom and dad drive to LA VA Hospital that the doctors working will be able to figure something out for him.

Softball Wins

David had a softball game last night with a church league in Bakersfield. While playing left field he was going for a long fly ball for on out. During the catch the softball tipped his glove and hit is face. We went to the ER right away to get him checked out. The doctor ordered a CT SCAN to make sure his eye socket and eyeball were ok! Everything checked out ok so far.

Grand Canyon

On our way home yesterday from a fun filled weekend in Phoenix we decided to stop by the Grand Canyon so the girls could see it! I know there are pictures from yesterday. Those were taken with my phone. These are from my camera!

Taco Bell

We wanted something other than a hamburger or chicken fingers for dinner tonight on the way home. What we thought would be a quick drive thru visit turned out to be 45mins! They messed up David and Jacob's
order it took them forever to fix it! We are back on the road again headed for home! We have about 5 more hours!

Grand Canyon

We stopped by the Grand Canyon on the way home! David, Jacob and I saw in the summer of 2007, but Emily was in Europe in a trip. We were this close so we thought why not stop so Emily, Hannah & Megan could see it! It is pretty amazing how GOD created this earth and this is just one of HIS beautiful creations!

Lunch time

If we go to a state that has a Cracker Barrell we have to eat there at least once! Emily found the one in Flagstaff, AZ that we ate at a few years ago on our way to MO!
