Second day in Paris




This is day 2 for Emily. She is still in Paris. Today she went to the famous Musee Du Louvre. She will see the famous Mona Lisa painting. They will stroll around the famous artists' quarter of Montmartre. Emily will climb the series of steps to the La Sacre-Coeur for on the most impressive view of Paris. She will be going to an art workshop where she will have the opportunity to work with and art instructor to create her own masterpiece to bring home.

Updated our homestudy

We had to update our home study today. Since China is taking forever in there adoption referrals we are having to update our dossier. Hopefully China we speed things up soon.

First Day in Paris




Emily made it to Paris today. She got there about 12:30 Paris time. She is touring Notre-Dame Catherdral.

Emily leaves today!





I dropped Emily off this morning at LAX at 9:00. She was very excited. She has an hour layover in New York and then off to Paris, France. I will try to post everyday so everyone knows what she is doing. I want to thank everyone who helped her with this trip! Thank You, Thank You. This is a trip of a life time. Emily is going to learn alot and have a great time.

Emily and I (Christie) are going to go to LAX tonight. We are going to stay at the Sheraton. I will drop her off tomorrow at LAX. She is all packed and ready to go. She is going to have a great time.

9 Months

Yesterday we have been logged in to China's system 9 months. If I was really pregnant it would have been our due date. It is funny to think about. We still have a while to wait.

Jacob goes on to High School

Jacob's 8th Grade Party


We had a party on Sunday for Jacob. He made through 8th grade! Now he is on to High School.

He start summer school on Monday. He seems to really enjoy it so far. He is taking a Math Foundations class and a Study Skills class. David and I are really proud of him! Keep up the good work Little Man!
