Still no news

Well it is almost time for our adoption agency to close for today and we still have not heard any news. I think I have checked my e-mail a hundred times today. Maybe we will hear something on Monday about our travel dates.

No news

Well today came and went. We did not hear anything on our travel dates. At this point it is getting really hard to wait when you know your child is there waiting for her forever family. All we have to do is pack our bags and hop on that plane. Maybe we will hear something tomorrow. Let's keep our fingers crossed.

Trailer

Jacob was having to much fun washing the travel trailer. Jacob and Emily got the trailer all cleaned up for the summer. We don't now if we will get to go anywhere in this summer, so the have decided to use it as their summer camp hide out spot. They go out everynight to sleep in it and watch a Disney movie. They are having a summer Disney movie marathon.

TA and VISA's

We got our Travel approval and Visa's today. We do not the exact dates of our travel yet. As soon as I find out I will post. We are very excited. We are one step closer!!

We went to my mom and dad's last night for dinner. I wanted to get some new pictures of Jacob. It amazes me to see how much he is growing up and changing into wonderful, young Christain man.

Cheryl's class room and KCAC is really going to miss Emily next year. They made her a banner, because she will be going to school next year and won't be around to do all of our little jobs that we need to have done. Emily has been a big help being our gopher for the Autism Center. She is VERY excited about her new adventure.

Well school is out for the summer. We have a lot planned for the summer and the kids are very excited. Here are some pictures from the beginning of school and the end of school. They have grown up so much this year. Jacob will be a sophmore and Emily will be in eighth grade.

The Questions????????

I talk with Amber at Holt today. I wanted to know if they had received on update on Hannah. Amber told me that they had not, but she needed our five questions for the orphanage. I thought it would be easy to think of five questions. I was wrong. It was rather difficult when you have soooooo many questions you want to ask about your little one. Amber did tell that she is pretty sure that they have fixed her lip, but we won't know till we get to China. She said that we should hear something really soon on our travel approval. We are getting VERY excited about going to get Hannah.

Visas

Our paperwork for our visas got FEDEX off today. Hopefully we will have those back in a couple of weeks. Maybe by the end of the month we will have travel dates.

Earthquake

I woke up this morning to the radio telling us that there was an earthquake in China. Needless to say I start to get a little worried. The earthquake is Northwest of where Hannah is at. Our adoption agency is keeping us updated on the status of our little one. We are praying for China to give speedy travel approvals so we can bring our little one home.

David and the kids went Mother's Day shopping today. I have a wonderful husband and two wonderful kids. They bought me an ipod nano for our trip, but it is also for me to use with Hannah in the car. It is really cool. I was not expecting this really cool gift. I am blessed to have such an awesome family.

Paperwork

Our paper work is on it's way to CHINA!!! We are now waiting travel approval. Let's pray that it is a short wait.

LOA & Paperwork

We received our LOA today. We finished ALL the paperwork and mailed it back to Holt this afternoon. Now we are waiting for travel arrangements. This could be from 2-5 weeks to get approval. After we get our approval we will have to wait 2-5 weeks to travel. Then Hannah will be in our arms!

Paperwork

David and I finished our paperwork today. We have to have a few papers notorized tomorrow. We finished the photo album for Hannah. If our LOA comes tomorrow we will be able to FED EX everything to HOLT tomorrow. Once they receive everything they will FED EX it to China on Friday.

Hannah's Birthday!

We celebrated Hannah's birthday! The kids got her two outfits. Jacob kept telling me you can't have a birthday without the cake. So we went to Costco and he picked out a chocolate cake. It was a very emotional day for me. I kept thinking of Hannah's parents and the emotions they must be feeling. They had a child a year ago that they had to decide what they where going to do. Keep her or give her up. I just would like to tell them Thank YOU! We are gaining a daughter that we are going to love so much.

WE GOT OUR LETTER OF ACCEPTANCE!

We got our letter of acceptance today. This letter means that Hannah is officially ours! We are now waiting travel approval. We could possibly be traveling in 4 to 10 weeks. This is all happening faster than expected.
