Via Las Vegas Baby!!

David and I went to Las Vegas for his birthday. It was little bit late, but who cares we had fun. We went to see the Lion King show. It was awesome!! It was nice to have time with each other with no kidos. It was fun walking around seeing the sights of Las Vegas. I think we walked about 7 miles that day. We also ate at a really cool place that was featured on Diners, Drive-In's & Dives. It was called the Four Kegs. Below is a just a few sights of Las Vegas!!

Branson Summer Trip

JAKE"S ANKLE!


He sprained it last Monday night jumping out of a hammock swing in the backyard. He messed up 2 of the 3 ligaments on the side of his ankle, and it's still pretty sore. The doctor has him in a brace, and crutches. He's got to wear the brace for 3-6 weeks, and slowly work on adding pressure to it. And for the next six months, he has to wear the brace whenever he does anything active. Gotta love teenagers, right?

Cotton

They are growing cotton across the street from us this year!!! We usually have cotton every two years.

The Beach

We spent the day at Pismo/Avila, on the beach, and at one of the local food barns. It was a great day of relaxing, and just having fun!

Jacob's bathroom

While Jacob was in Branson this past summer Emily & I had a wild hair to redo his bathroom. We repainted and re did the countertop in the matter of a week!!!
