We are still waiting for our little one. We are hoping that the referral process speeds up. We will just have to wait and see. It has been a long journey so far. We know that in the end it there will be an awesome baby waiting for us!

School is out for Emily and I. Yet it won't be long until I am back in summer school for a month long math class. WHOOPIE! Emily will be doing some stuff with Mom at home and then the rest of the summer is OURS!

School is Out ! !

School is out! Yet for me, it won't be long until I am back in summer school doing my ALL TIME FAVORITE subject . . . . . . . . . the beloved math! To me it is a two hour long torture period, but in the long run it will help me a lot. The class is only a month long. Emily will be doing some stuff with Mom at home and then she is off the Europe. Then after June the rest of the summer is jam packed full of stuff.

Happy mother's Day ! !

Hey guys this is Jake. Happy mother's Day to all you Mom's out there! I really have to buy my Mom something good for all that she has put up with. For instance, once I was bored and thought I would try a prank I saw on T.V. This was a funny prank and in no way harmed anyone in the process. I thought I would get a rubber band and tie it around the spray nozzle on the sink. Then when my mom walked by and turned on the water, it would get her wet! She got sooooo wet it was unreal! I was laughing my head of it was so funny. She thought differently.

but she still loves me . . . . . . . . . . . . . . I think . . . . well mom if you read this , I apologize, and I will get that shirt dry cleaned for you sometime soon. Oh and by the way. . Happy Mother's Day!

Jacob's High School Orientation

Jacob and I went to his high school freshmen orientation last night. I think he is going to be one busy fellow next year. He chose his classes for next year. He will meet with a counselor next week to get everything finalized. He is very excited about all his opportunities.

Emily got her braces off today! She was very excited that they came off before she leaves on her trip. She will have to wear retainers for awhile.

The Waiting Game

Hey guys this is Jake. Right now we are currently in the " waiting game " for Hannah. It is driving me NUTS! I guess waiting isn't my strong point. But I can't wait to go to China to get her! I am still trying to get all of the web site stuff figured out like how to post video and stuff like that. Waaaay annoying. But so far all of the paperwork is done except the stuff my mom and dad have to sign in China when we get her. But actually the rumor is that the wait time will speed up. So I am hoping to go in the fall/ winter of '07. Anyways I will be posting more while we wait and so will the rest of the family.
