Halloween and football!

Yep, it's halloween.
haha this was the score at half-time.

man, she was a wild woman!

Should I smile at the camera, or not??

My friends Steph and Taylor. Two girls that "know" football.

Tonight we had our last home game of the season for BCHS. JV lost 28-6, and Varsity won by a landslide! 56-7. Hannah had alot of fun running around, and meeting alot of Jake's friends. She loved waving her arms around whenever we scored a touchdown (which was frequent!). We didn't do much for halloween. We went to Mcdonalds after the game and got a ice cream! It was a fun little treat.

Happy Halloween!!!!!

Hope everyone has a safe and fun halloween!!! Here is our little LADYBUG! Our little LADYBUG!

I wanted to play....lol oh well, next week we're at Arvin High, then in Taft for our final game! Tonight we're going to watch J.V and Varsity play. Hopefully J.V will be able to get a win... the last two games they've lost. Good luck!!!

Jacob and Football

I finally got to go to another football game of Jacob's tonight. He played awesome even though they lost. David said this was his best game so far this year. He was not afraid of slamming those guys down to the ground. I was fun to see how much he has improved since the last game I saw. He is playing left guard and defensive end. It is also amazing to see how much this kid has grown this year. Jacob is just one cool kid.

Chicken Jokes

Here's something I thought everyone would like. A friend of mine sent this to me, and I was dyin!! Hope you enjoy it too.
>>Jake
WHY DID THE CHICKEN CROSS THE ROAD?

SARAH PALIN: Before it got to the other side, I shot the chicken, cleaned and
dressed it, and had chicken burgers for lunch.

BARACK OBAMA: The chicken crossed the road because it was time for a change!
The chicken wanted change!

JOHN MC CAIN: My friends, that chicken crossed the road because he recognized
the need to engage in cooperation and dialogue with all the chickens on the
other side of the road.

HILLARY CLINTON: When I was First Lady, I personally helped that little chicken
to cross the road. This experience makes me uniquely
qualified to ensure right from Day One that every chicken in this country gets
the chance it deserves to cross the road. But then, this really isn't about me.

GEORGE W. BUSH We don't really care why the chicken crossed the road. We just
want to know if the chicken is on our side of the road, or not. The chicken is
either against us, or for us. There is no middle ground here.

DICK CHENEY: Where's my gun?

COLIN POWELL: Now to the left of the screen, you can clearly see the satellite
image of the chicken crossing the road.

BILL CLINTON: I did not cross the road with that chicken. What is your
definition of chicken?

AL GORE: I invented the chicken.

JOHN KERRY: Although I voted to let the chicken cross the road, I am now
against it! It was the wrong road to cross, and I was misled about the
chicken's intentions. I am not for it now and will remain against it.

AL SHARPTON: Why are all the chickens white? We need some black chickens.

DR. PHIL: The problem we have here is that this chicken doesn't realize that he
must first deal with the problem on this side of the road before it goes after
the problem on the other side of the road. What we need to do is help him
realize how stupid he's acting by not taking on his current problems before
adding new problems.

OPRAH: Well, I understand that the chicken is having problems, which is why he
wants to cross this road so bad. So instead of having the chicken learn from
his mistakes and take falls, which is a part of life, I'm going to give this
chicken a car so that he can just drive across the road and not live his life
like the rest of the chickens.

ANDERSON COOPER, CNN: We have reason to believe there is a chicken, but we have
not yet been allowed access to the other side of the road.

NANCY GRACE: That chicken crossed the road because he's guilty! You can see it
in his eyes and the way he walks.

PAT BUCHANAN: To steal the job of a decent, hardworking American.

MARTHA STEWART No one called me to warn me which way that chicken was going. I
had a standing order at the Farmer's Market to sell my eggs when the price
dropped to a certain level. No little bird gave me any insider information.

DR SEUSS Did the chicken cross the road? Did he cross it with a toad? Yes, the
chicken crossed the road, but why it crossed I've not been told.

ERNEST HEMINGWAY: To die in the rain, alone.

GRANDPA: In my day we didn't ask why the chicken crossed the road. Somebody
told us the chicken crossed the road, and that was good enough.

BARBARA WALTERS: Isn't that interesting? In a few moments, we will be
listening to the chicken tell, for the first time, the heart-warming story of
how it experienced a serious case of molting, and went on to accomplish its
lifelong dream of crossing the road.

ARISTOTLE: It is the nature of chickens to cross the road.

JOHN LENNON: Imagine all the chickens in the world crossing roads together, in
peace.

BILL GATES: I have just released /eChicken 2008/, which will not only cross
roads, but will lay eggs, file your important documents, and balance your
checkbook. Internet Explorer is an integral part of /eChicken 2008/. This new
platform is much more stable and will never crash or need to be rebooted.

ALBERT EINSTEIN: Did the chicken really cross the road, or did the road move
beneath the chicken?

COLONEL SANDERS: Did I miss one?

Shopping Cart

Hannah now thinks her shopping cart is her race car. She sits in the basket and wants us to race her around the house. Earlier in the day she wanted the cat in the basket to push around. The cat didn't think that it was such a good idea.

Point of Grace

Jeff this picture is for YOU!!!!!
David heard this morning on KUZZ our local country station was giving a free concert and it was Point of Grace. It was pretty good. Hannah loved it. She was clapping and waving her hands in her high chair.

One of those days!

Ever had one of the days where everything and everyone are just bothering you? Today was just one of those days. Nothing bad happened. It was just an annoying day. It started out sitting the wonderful social sercurity office with everybody in the world that you really don't want to be with. I can't let Hannah out of the stroller because she may pick up some other creepy infection or illness. She is getting really fussy, because she doesn't understand why she has to be sitting for so long and not doing anything. Then David calls me and tells me all the buisness problems and that we need more money. My answer to him was "I don't have that much money!"" I guess we will get on our knees and pray." God is in control of this one. My next question is why is money the root of all evil. If you fight it is aways over money. It just doesn't seem fair. We meet for lunch and the wonderful dining establishment of TACO BELL!!! Yucky. Then David and Mo tells me that they want to go to Verizon and check out a new phone upgrade. When I get to Verizon and the wonderful sales person that was helping David and Mom. Did not appriciate that I was there. She seem to not like anything I had to say, so You all know how well that went with me. I ask her if I could speak to Maria our sales rep. Well Maria is on Prego leave. Yeah she had to have a baby. Right when we needed her, but that is ok. Congrats to her. Needless to say we did not get our phones today. The wonderful rep did not like me. OH WELL!!! At this point in the day I could careless if anyone likes. Hopefully we will get the phones in a couple of weeks. On a good side. David did call and say that the Crystal Palace is having a free Point of Grace concert so we are going tonight. Tomorrow will be better. We just have to remember God is in control!Hope you all have had a laugh at this one, because I know everyone has had one of this annoying days!

Final Check up for Staph!

Hannah had her final and last appointment for her staph infection. Dr. O checked her out from head to toe. She gave her a clean bill of health. We did have to have a bunch of lab work done before the PICC line could come out. Hannah and I had the lab work done and wanted until some of the results came back. Everything checked out just fine, so the Picc Line came out too!!!!!!!Yeah we can have a bath and not worry about anything getting wet that is not suppose to get wet. She is one tired little girl tonight. Thank you everyone who has been praying for us as we have had this little speed bump in life. All I have to say is God is AWESOME and Hannah is healthly!

Happy Anniversary to US!!

Today is our anniversary! We have been married for 18 years!

Doctor's Appointment

Hannah had her doctor's appointment to have her leg rechecked. Her leg is all healed up. YEAH!!!!!!!!!! It is still sore. She starts crying if she thinks anyone is going to touch it. The home health nurse met me at the doctors office to draw blood through her PICC line. The doctor order a whole bunch of stuff to be tested. I was wondering after they where done drawing blood if the poor kid had any left. Thank goodness they didn't have to poke her for it. We should hear later this week all the results of her labs. We are praying for good results! The doctor said Hannah could finally take a bath. Tonight David and I gave her a bath and she did not want to get out. Next week she can stay in as long as she wants to. Since Hannah has the PICC line in you have to wrap her arm with plastic wrap and tape everything up so it doesn't get wet. She hates it!!!!!!!! We only have 6 more days of this stuff.

Pumpkins

We went to the pumpkin patch today for work. This is an annual trip for our clients. Hannah and I went with Dai Break before her doctors appointment. She loved it. She wanted to roll the pumpkins. She looked so little next to all the pumpkins. I tried to get a few pictures, but I wanted to take the kids this weekend so I can get pictures of all of them.
