Dad, Emily, and I got a chance to meet up with the Houston Texans chaplain Greg Tyler for a bit the night of Christmas. The Texans were in town for a game against Denver, and dad's friend knows Greg, and set up the get together. He's SUCH a great guy, and an awesome man of God. He's got such a drive, and passion for what he does. We didn't get a photo together, as he had to rush to a team meeting, but here are some photos of Downtown Denver after the meeting.

Christmas Eve
Grandma Ginny and Grandpa Frank came down to spend the afternoon with us at Aunt Marcy's house. It was a nice afternoon of just relaxing, eating, and catching up on everything going on in everyone's lives. Apparently we all were too busy (or lazy) to grab a camera and shoot some photos, but this written post counts for something! :)

Open House!
(photos shot by Sean Yarger)
Aunt Marcy Hosted a party at her place so her law firm could meet us, and Hannah, since she went with us to China. (If you want to view our China trip photos, click HERE ) It was a great night meeting new people, and spending time talking about adoption.

Mummy, is that King Tut?
We spent an afternoon at the Denver Art Museum checking out an awesome exhibit on King Tut. Unfortunately we were not allowed to take photos inside the exhibit due to actual artifacts, and mummy's not looking good in photos (my mom says she doesn't look good in photos either.) Ok, so that was a really bad pun, but let's just roll with it.
ANYWAYS....
We also surprised my grandparents with a visit. Aunt Marcy told them that they all were going to the museum exhibit, just not that we would be there. Well, we walk through the doors, and surprise! They were happy to see us, and it was a nice quiet afternoon seeing all the amazing artifacts of ancient Egypt.
After the exhibit we checked out a local spot called the Blue Bonnet. Great mexican food, even if it is out of California (still a firm believer that Cali has the best Mexican food around).
The Snow's Coming do-howwwnn....
Lunch with the Yargers
We had lunch again with the Yargers. They are a very close family to us, since Ava and Hannah were literally crib mates back in China. Whenever we are close to each other, we always try to get together so the girls can see each other.
Sean (daddy) and Gemma. She loves him so much! This girl is all smiles when you're around her.
The girls and their noodles!

Over Grown Smurfs, and Life is a Box of Choc-late.
Aunt Marcy surprised us with tickets to a showing of Blue Man Group here in Denver. Dad has always wanted to see these guys, along with everyone else. If you ever get a chance to see them, DO NOT pass it up. They're incredible, and put on a stellar show. It's incredibly amazing to see how being creative can make simple things turn into complex structures. PCP pipe used as drums, water and color sitting ontop of a drum can make for a loud and colorful powerhouse of music and light.
Thank you again Aunt Marcy for the tickets and awesome experience!

Little something I shot with some friends in Colorado. Check it out, leave a comment and let me know what you think.
Eclipse. No Really. This Has Absolutely EVERYTHING To Do With Twilight
Ok, this doesn't have anything to do with Twilight, sparkly, glittery vampires, overtanned, arrogant werewolves, or a girl who can't figure out who to make out with. This ACTUALLY has to deal with the REAL Eclipse that happened while we were back here in Colorado. This lunar eclipse only happens every 300+ years, and Jake, David, and Emily stayed up for most of it . Here's some pics they got from the experience!
