We spent an afternoon at the Denver Art Museum checking out an awesome exhibit on King Tut. Unfortunately we were not allowed to take photos inside the exhibit due to actual artifacts, and mummy's not looking good in photos (my mom says she doesn't look good in photos either.) Ok, so that was a really bad pun, but let's just roll with it.
ANYWAYS....
We also surprised my grandparents with a visit. Aunt Marcy told them that they all were going to the museum exhibit, just not that we would be there. Well, we walk through the doors, and surprise! They were happy to see us, and it was a nice quiet afternoon seeing all the amazing artifacts of ancient Egypt.
After the exhibit we checked out a local spot called the Blue Bonnet. Great mexican food, even if it is out of California (still a firm believer that Cali has the best Mexican food around).
