Our Referral Day!

Three years ago today the most beautiful child entered our lives. We were matched with Hannah. This day was one of the most amazing days of our lives. I will never forget that day. I was in training in Springville and David was playing golf with his best friend Jeff. I called David when I had cell phone service and he shouted on the other end of the phone "I can't talked to you right know I am getting our baby!" I just remember looking at my mom and shouting David is getting our baby right now. It was not how I expected to get our referral, but that is ok. It is our day to remember. When we opened that e-mail I knew that she was our child. She looked so quite, lost, and in need of a mama & daddy to just hold her and hug on her. It has been amazing to watch what God has done in this child's life so far. She has had one surgery to fix her lip and then battled a very bad MRSA infection 3 times. She is one tough little cookie. It has been amazing to see what God has done in our lives as parents and siblings. Hannah has blessed this family in so many ways. She has brought so much love into this house. God has given her the sweetest personality, now don't get me wrong she can be a little pistol too. It is so much fun to watch her with Jacob and Emily. Our three kids have a very TIGHT bond with each other. I love this little girl so much.  I love her brown eyes that look up at me daily asking me a million and one questions. I love how she is so eager to learn new things (ABC's, numbers and writing).  I love to watch her swing on those rings at gymnastics and try to do her landings perfectly.  I love watching her be the leader of her class.  I love it when she reminds us every night to pray for our dinner and bed time prayers.  I makes my heart beam when she wants to learn more and more about Jesus Christ.  I love listening to that sweet little voice giggling, sing, and praising God.  Thank You Lord for bringing Hannah into our lives.  Thank you for allowing us to be her parents.  I do pray daily for her biological parents.  I would like for them to know that she is happy, safe, and loved. Thank you Lord!!!!
