Birthday Dinner at Outback

Our August Birthday dinner. Megan's birthday was the 8th and David's was the 11th. They choice for dinner was Outback. Thanks Mom & Dad! The next dinner will be in October!! There is a grand total of 16 of us now!

Phone high jacked

When I looked at my phone this morning I realized that a wonderful, funny 5 year old got a hold of it and took some pictures of herself while she was eating her apple. Things that just make you smile!!

Stuffed Animals

My mom bought the girls these over sized stuffed animals for their beds. Hannah wanted a dog, Tianyan wanted the bear and Emily wanted the duck. Every night since the girls have gotten these they use them as body pillows, but what cracks me up is Hannah's is as big as she is!! Thanks mom the girls love these things!

BCHS Orientation

Tianyan had new student orientation today. I think she was pretty nervous at first, but when she saw that there were going to be other Chinese kids in her class she was pretty happy. Her experience here is different from the other Chinese kids. Tianyan is here to learn as much English as she can and to learn about the American culture. She also got her lock today. When I was picking her up from orientation I noticed her squatting down at the lockers trying to open it. I walked over to see what she was doing when I realized this girl has NEVER opened a locker. We sat there until she mastered the skill of opening a lock.  I think this is among a lot of first for her. I know I have only had her one week but I can't express how lucky we are to have gotten such a sweet girl.  She is pretty much welling to try anything once. I think this is going to be a fun year.

Happy Birthday to the sweetest man I know!! My amazing husband!! Hope you have had a fun day golfing with Jacob! I hope you liked the movie that you saw. Hope you enjoyed you birthday dinner with people who love you bunches!!

Cousins

These two have a special bond that I don't think ANYONE could take away. God has given these two an awesome connection. They are the closest of the cousins. There is not a day that goes by that they don't text or call each other.  When they get together there are so many giggles and tears!! People think that they are sisters because they are so close. Girls KEEP that bond with each other.  I love you both A LOT!!!!
