Emily's dr appointment!

Emily had her doctor appointment this morning! Everything looks really good. Her ankle and leg are all lined up like it should be. We saw David the PA and he said she could start putting weight on it, but she still has to use her crutches to guide her! He told her that she can get into the pool once the holes from the staples are closed! Over good appointment and she is healing well! She will be in the walking boot for about another month to six weeks!

Post op appointment

Emily had her post op appointment today with Dr. Tivnon. He removed her cast and staples. He said everything looked really good! Praise the Lord everything is healing great! They took another set of X-rays to see how things looked.....Emily has six screws and a plate attached to her leg! Emily asked doc if she could please have a walking boot even though she is not to put FULL pressure on her leg yet. He told her she could have one if she promised to follow strict orders!! Emily just wants to be able to get into the swimming pool this summer and with a boot she can!! Thank you everyone who has been praying for her the last few weeks!! God is good all the time!!!

Game of tic tack toe

Hannah has really been a sweet little sister to Emily since she broke her leg! She is trying find things they can do together since Emily can't do much! She gets so excited when Emily wakes up! I was laying in bed and hear Hannah in the hall asking Emily if her leg is ok today! She even helped her get into the bathroom! Hannah was coloring in a coloring book and she found a tic tack toe game! She runs up to me to see if I would play with her, but she says wait Emily can play with me!!! Makes my heart melt at how caring she is towards her sister!

Emily broke her leg

Emily broke her leg last Tuesday night playing hide and seek with Hannah!!! She had to have surgery on her leg to have it plated and pinned today.
