New Year's Eve

We had a weeding to attend on New Year's Eve. I think it was one of the funnest weddings I have been too. The wedding was very pretty and the reception was one big New Year's Eve party. Her are some pictures of all of us dressed up for the wedding. I am praying that every one's 2012 is blessed!! Happy New Year's!!

As I go through my Bible studies this next year I am going to blog some of my favorite verses and quotes throughout the studies. This is Lesson 1 of Loving your Husband.

David & I have been married 21 years this past October and I will tell you there is something new everyday that I learn about this man. I will have to say if we didn't have Christ in our lives it would have been impossible. Thank you David for being my husband!! Thank you for being there for me through thick & thin. Let our journey for 2012 begin. I love you more than you can imagine!!

I had this idea this evening as I was addressing our Christmas cards! What in the world am I going to do with all the Christmas cards we received this year? I thought why not put them in a basket and pull one out a day to pray for that family or business! If you sent us a card you are going into our basket!

Santa cookies & reindeer carrots

Well the reindeer food is scattered outside! Thank you Jami!! Santa's cookies are ready with egg nog!! Cookies this year are Andes mint chip!
Reindeer food contained 1 cup of oatmeal, crushed peppermint sticks for Christmas smell, & glitter to sparkle there way to your house! Carrot coins are also cut for bite size pieces for the deer! Merry Christmas to all & to all a good night!!

We went to The grove last night for dinner & to hang out with our kids! Here are a couple I cute pictures of Hannah & Christmas lights!!

DJ

We had make one of the hardest decisions this morning!! Jake woke up to DJ having a seizure. Then he continued to have them. By the time we got to the vet DJ had about 12 or more seizures. The vet is pretty sure he had a brain tumor. We had to have him put down. It is one of the hardest things as a mom to stand there helpless and watching my son say goodbye to his best friend. Jacob had this dog since he was in 2nd grade. DJ was is buddy. They played football together, ran on the beach together, slept together. DJ was by Jacob's side ALL the time. You know that the day is going to come when you have to make those hard decisions, but you are never ready for it.
DJ you were the best dog ever. You are going to be missed BUNCHES!!! We love you dude!!! March 2000 to December 2011

Worn out

I had lots of Christmas shopping that ha to get done for my clients that live in the residential facility yesterday. Hannah is not to fond of shopping she tolerates it! By the time I was exiting the last of 4 stores she was in tears! I had put her in her stroller hoping that she would go to sleep!! Oh no the little. Darling falls asleep in her car seat about 3 mins. After getting in it!! I still had one more store to go to... She wakes up & ask for Jacob to take her home. She knew he was off work. Who won't want to come home with big brother to watch movies & play games!!! She was worn out from her day of shopping!!
