We went to lunch with Aunt Carrie and Chelsea today. Hannah had her first McDonald's french fry. She LOVED it.

Six Flags

The kids went to Six Flags today. Chelsea, their cousin from Texas was is out for a visit, and Jake couldn't resist taking her to Six Flags, so, Aunt Carrie, Cheryl and Nanny took them down there. It was a fun day, filled with some of the funnest coasters in the world.

Church

Today we made it to church with Hannah. This was her first Sunday! There will be many more to come. It was amazing being able to stand there and praise God for what he has blessed us with. Lord, thank you for what you have done for me and my family. Thank you for this precious child that we are going to raise to know and worship you.

Chelsea and her cousins

Chelsea came out for 3 weeks this summer. She was very excited that she got to see Hannah before she leaves to go back home. Last year we spent a week at Pismo with her and my aunt. We were planning on doing the same this year, but we got our referral to get Hannah. We were in China while they where at Pismo. Maybe we will get to spent next summer with them. Oh yeah we are suppose to smile!

Our first week home

It is really hard to believe that we have been home one week. Hannah is doing great. She is getting to be more comfortable with the house and everything and everyone. She still wants me in eye shot of her.

I am still waiting to get a picture of her and my mom. She will let her pick her up, but everytime I don't have my camera.

Tripp

Last Friday when we got home we had one sick dog. We thought maybe he was missing us to much, but we where wrong. David took him to the vets office on Saturday morning. Tripp had a temp of 105. The vet kept him for the night to run some tests on him. Well a week later we found out that he has Valley Fever. Yes that is right Valley Fever. Tripp is on some heavy duty drugs to TRY to clean it up. He was very happy to be home, but he is so tired. We are having to try everything to get him to eat. He lost 9lbs through this whole thing.

Spaghetti anyone?

We had spaghetti for dinner tonight and Hannah loved it. I do have one question though? How come everytime you give a little kid spaghetti they go to sleep. Mom this stuff is great! It beats that congee stuff they fed us in the orphange.
I am getting really sleepy.
I don't think I can eat anymore. I am going to crash into my bowl if your not careful.
I am to tired to eat anymore.

1st Doctor's appt

Hannah had her first doctor's appointment with her pediatrician. He is so good with her. We are all set up for our UCLA appointment. We go to that appointment on Aug 13. Hopefully they will schedule her surgery soon. Her doctor said that she is doing great.

Hannah loves it when Emily pulls her in her wagon. Emily is so good with her. She can think of the funnest stuff to do. I am really going to be in big trouble when she starts school.

Going Home

Thank God for the U.S.A!!!!!!!! We are truly blessed to live in a country that is free. We had an awesome trip. Thank you everyone who prayed for us while we where gone. Thank you mom and dad for staying here and taking care of everything for us. I also want to to tell Marcy thank you so much for going with us. I had an awesome time with you. Thank you for helping with Jacob and Emily. Thank you for keeping me calm when I was nervous about being some place out of my element. I enjoyed our time that we had together. These are memories that I will NEVER forget. Thank you Eric and Shannon for coming to the airport to greet us. That was awesome. Last but not least. Thank you Teresa for coming out. It means a lot to me. You are an awesome special person to us.
